Freelance Project Management for Marketing & Website projects

Creative management that ensures projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently, but with a healthy dose of personality.

Finding the right freelance project manager can be tricky.

Projects need someone that is details oriented, but speedy.

Creative at problem solving, but also logistical.

Someone who loves working with people, but is equally happy building spreadsheets, battling budgets, and plotting timelines.

Geeing up the team, building working relationships, mapping out process workflows, and making sure that everyone is clear on what they’re doing, when, and who is waiting on it.

That’s me folks.

I’ve managed projects including huge charity website launches, global rebrands, membership launches, start-up marketing campaigns, and national events branding. I’ve done it in-house, at an agency, and now in my own business.

Core Information

What does it cost?

With project management, I charge a day rate. This can be agreed at scoping stage, but my usual costs are £350 per day.

Will I travel?

I’m based in Sheffield, Yorkshire - but I do travel for my project management clients, as it’s important to build relationships in the team. Travel is capped, and I do it for larger project milestones such as kick off, strategy development, and presenting.

Don’t just take my word for it

  • “Emily has helped us hugely with our business. We are people who have a million ideas but struggle to execute them. Emily has listened to us, understood our business and who we are and has helped us with our organisation, direction and has supported us in having our most successful year so far and we’re not even half way through! Thank you Emily for all you have done for us.”

Dr Frankie Harrison, Founder, Miracle Moon

  • “ Emily has been project managing a number of major brand, digital and editorial projects for us for the last six months or so, and I can honestly say I don’t know what we would have done without her! She has slotted right into the team and managed everything impeccably. She is always several steps ahead, pre-empting issues we hadn’t even spotted yet.”

Ariel Haber, Head of Brand Creative Content, Global Witness

  • "I've worked with Emily a couple of times - most recently on an annual report project she managed, and previously at the Nuffield Trust. Emily really knows her stuff when it comes to comms, and she's organised, efficient and lovely to work with. I'm also always impressed by the brand-related content Emily puts out on LinkedIn! She manages to share her significant expertise in a way that's human, authentic and relatable too."
